TCS Lidingöloppet - Travel Information and Parking

During the TCS Lidingöloppet, there are limited opportunities to use the car as several roads are closed and the number of parking spaces is limited. Therefore, we encourage you to choose other travel options if possible.

If you are coming by car, the best option is to park at Ropsten or another park and ride Map (stockholmparkering.se) and from there take the TCS Lidingöloppet's free buses to and from the event.

If you need to take the car all the way to Lidingö, please note that parking is only permitted in the areas designated by Lidingöloppet.

Some of the parking areas for the Lidingö Race are located far from either the start or the finish. Therefore, it is important to arrive well in advance of your start time. This means you need to be at Lidingövallen at least two hours before your start, so plan your journey accordingly.

As part of our efforts to reduce car traffic and to encourage more people to choose our free buses or bicycles, we charge a parking fee of 60 SEK which is paid via Swish. Half of the parking fee is donated to the Lidingö Race's Pink Ribbon collection for the Cancer Society.

From Ropsten, motorists should follow the yellow signs, as well as instructions from the police and traffic wardens, please note that we strongly advise against driving. Map (stockholmparkering.se)
