During the TCS Lidingöloppet, you who are going to run have the opportunity to feel like the elite while taking care of the environment! TCS Lidingöloppet and Enervit offer a hand-out service of Enervit energy products. If you purchase this service, the products will be distributed to you at unique Enervit stations along the course.

New for 2024 is that there are now 3 refreshment depots. These are located after approximately 9 km, 19 km, and 24 km.

The package includes: 1 PreSport, 3 Liquid Gel Competition, and 1 WP Recovery.

Once you have booked your package, you will be registered and included in the handover registry. At the Lidingöloppet Expo, go to the Enervit booth, provide your starting number, and receive a wristband that grants you access to the handover stations (the wristband is to be worn on the RIGHT arm). You will also receive the products that should be consumed before and after the race. Enjoy the TCS Lidingöloppet even more, book a handover package now!

The importance of the right energy before, during, and after the TCS Lidingöloppet

Sports nutrition is a key aspect for anyone running the TCS Lidingöloppet – whether you're an elite runner or it's your first time and your goal is simply to finish. By applying the basics of sports nutrition, you give yourself the best conditions to succeed in your goal.

Before

Carb-loading
Carbohydrates are the body's fuel during physical activity - that's why it's important that your carbohydrate stores are full when you're on the starting line. You carb-load by increasing your carbohydrate intake a couple of days before the race. You can do this easily by increasing the amount of pasta/rice/potatoes in your meals.

Fluid Balance
When you arrive at the start, it's also important to have a good fluid balance to avoid cramps and muscle fatigue during the race. Therefore, make sure to drink extra water the days before and ensure you consume a bit more salt than usual.

Energy Intake
During the race, it is important to maintain energy levels to avoid exhaustion. The best way to do this is to regularly replenish energy throughout the race. Energy gels and/or energy bars are important to have with you. You can conveniently purchase them from us at Enervit during the bib distribution, where you will also receive advice from our competent staff.

Pacing Service
We recommend that you purchase our pacing service. This way, you'll have energy gels handed to you along the course – so you won't need to carry anything yourself, and you won't have to keep track of when to take what.

Fluids
During the race, it is also important to replenish fluids to maintain a good hydration balance. You can do this easily by drinking Enervit's sports drink, which is served at all checkpoints along the course. It also ensures that you get the vitamins and minerals you need to avoid cramps.

After

Recovery
After the race, it's important to replenish energy, fluids, and electrolytes - preferably as soon as possible to give the body the best conditions to recover. We recommend that you purchase Enervit's recovery drink “WP Recovery”, it contains everything you need.
