TCS donates an additional SEK 170 000 to one of Sweden's largest children's hospitals

The donation is part of a long-term initiative to improve children's experience during hospital stays and with this year's donation, TCS has donated a total of SEK 770,000 to the hospital.

Previous donations have helped the children's hospital with modern and interactive technology to make one of the hospital corridors exciting for hospitalized children, and has provided the hospital with new sound pillows which allow children to listen to music or fairy-tales. A sensory room and an interactive projector wall have also been installed in the hospital's play therapy department.

The donation is usually collected in connection with TCS Lidingöloppet, where TCS is the title sponsor, but the race could not be arranged as usual during 2020. TCS wants to maintain the collaboration and has thus chosen to donate SEK 170,000 to Astrid Lindgren's Children's Hospital.

“TCS Global has a great commitment to the health and well-being of our staff and society at large. In Sweden, we have chosen to get involved through collaborations with Lidingöloppet and Astrid Lindgren's Children's Hospital. The year 2020 was a different year and even though we could not collect the funds in connection with TCS Lidingöloppet as we usually do, we still want to contribute to Astrid Lindgren's Children's Hospital and to the environment where children reside."
