Accordingly, Ving is renewing its collaboration with TCS Lidingöloppet for another three years. The continued partnership allows Ving to reach out to health-conscious families and Swedes.
In 2021, TCS Lidingöloppet is arranged over a week to ensure safety and security for all participants. TCS Lidingöloppet is the world's largest cross country race and is part of The Swedish Classic Circuit.
- Through the collaboration with TCS Lidingöloppet, we reach even more people who wish to go on active holidays on warmer latitudes. Since many Swedes wish to combine their holidays with training, several of our hotels are Swedish Classic-certified. This means that they are equipped with good training opportunities for the four classic disciplines: running, cycling, swimming and skiing, says Anna Dahlberg, product manager for sports and training trips at Ving.
A Growing Area
Active holidays represents a growing focus area for Ving. Through the renewed collaboration, the company can now reach even more active Swedes and other northerners. Ving already has a collaboration with The Swedish Classic Circuit.
- Training trips is a good way to increase motivation and gain energy before TCS Lidingöloppet. Together with Ving, we aim to enhance public health by encouraging an active lifestyle, says Cecilia Gyldén, Secretary General of TCS Lidingöloppet.
Running trips in Sweden and Europe
Ving also participates on site during the TCS Lidingöloppet Week. Among other activities, the enterprise is responsible for the warm-up before the race -an appreciated part of the race experience for many runners.
- Together with TCS Lidingöloppet, we will arrange inspiring running trips in Sweden. A little further ahead, we also plan to carry out running trips abroad, says Anna Dahlberg, product manager for sports- and training journeys at Ving.
The TCS Lidingöloppet Week
During the TCS Lidingöloppet week, all race events will be spread over a week, staring on Friday the 24th of September, and ending on Sunday the 3rd of October. This allows TCS Lidingöloppet to safeguard participants during the current covid situation.
The week consists of a number of different races for young, old, elite, and recreational runners. The distances vary from a few kilometers for children, up to the classical 30K event. The following is a a summary of this year's races. More arrangements may be added.
